This model kit allows you to construct a beautiful clinker-built wooden model boat. Based on Swallow from Arthur Ransome's Swallows and Amazons, this model is perfect for radio control with a model outboard motor, or, with some modification, as an RC sailing model. It also makes for an impressive display model, showing off the graceful lines and planking of the clinker construction method.
Our innovative planking technique features fully pre-cut planking and ribs, reducing the build time and complexity in order to make it as simple as possible to put together. Included are comprehensive assembly instructions that provide, in addition to all the assembly steps, useful tips and techniques to aid those unfamiliar with the processes involved.
For assembly, we suggest having cyanoacrylate glue, CA Activator spray, PVA, and 2-part epoxy to hand,
